This piece was inspired by a trip to the Pictured Rocks Lakeshore in the Upper Peninsula of MI. This is viewing Lake Superior to the north. It was completed in 2023 and comes ready to hang in a frame of your choice.
This oil painting was created by building layers of paint on the canvas using both brush and palette knife. As an artist, I am particularly drawn to light and the horizon line. I have been painting for most of my life and am blessed to do this full time as a professional for the past 10 years. I can do custom paintings of the size and subject matter to your liking.
