Dome Homes
11” x 14”, Original oil on canvas
This painting was inspired by a visit to the Dome Homes at Cape Romano, FL near Marco Island. Shortly after our visit, hurricane Ian submerged these structures which were the remains of a house built on the island. This piece is an original oil on Gessoboard and completed in 2022. This painting comes in a gold frame and shipping is free.
This oil painting was created by building layers of paint on the canvas using both brush and palette knife. As an artist, I am particularly drawn to light and the horizon line. I have been painting for most of my life and have been blessed to do this full time as a professional since 2012. I can do custom paintings of the size and subject matter to your liking.
